In HoneyBook you pick a template, fill the proposal, send the contract to e-sign and press Send on each email its AI drafts.2, 4, 5 In Tommos (tommos.ai) the work of the deal comes to you done: Tommo SDR answers the inquiry and books the call, Tommo Closer writes the proposal from your estimate and follows up, and Tommo Legal reads the client’s own MSA against your terms. One price for the firm, no seats, the AI included.

Tommos and HoneyBook, side by side#

We took each HoneyBook cell from HoneyBook’s own pages and help center on Oct 8, 2026; the number after a cell names the page.

One inquiry, from the first email to the first invoice#

A made-up sale, the same in both columns: a 6-person marketing agency, and a software company that writes through the form on its site about a product launch. The plan that does each step in Tommos is in brackets.

  1. 1

    The reply and the callBook

Tommo SDR drafts the reply in your voice with two questions and two or three open times from your Google Calendar. You see it as a card: send, change or skip. In HoneyBook the AI puts a draft in your composer; you edit it, add your session link and press Send.2, 6

  2. 2

    The recapClose

Tommo Closer reads the call’s transcript and drafts the recap: the scope, who decides, and when the proposal comes. In HoneyBook the notetaker keeps the notes, and you write the email.3

  3. 3

    The proposalClose

Your estimate says 12 weeks at $48,000. Tommo Closer writes the proposal as an email with those numbers and the points the client raised on the call. When the estimate is missing, it asks you. In HoneyBook you open a proposal template, enter the services and prices, and send one file the client selects, signs and pays in.4

  4. 4

    The client's paperSign

The client says yes and sends their MSA. Tommo Legal reads it against your positions on liability, payment, IP and law, and drafts your SOW from your template as a Google Doc in the client’s folder in your Drive. You take or change each point, and Tommo Closer sends the client the link. In HoneyBook you send your own contract template; the review of their MSA is your reading, or your lawyer’s.5

  5. 5

    Signed and invoicedSign

In Tommos, when a person you allow to sign presses Sign, your signature goes on the PDF, and the client signs their own way. Once the deal is won, Tommo Closer reads the signed paper, proposes the payment schedule, and proposes each invoice through Mercury when it is due. In HoneyBook the client e-signs and pays in the HoneyBook file.4, 5

Each card waits for you until you let a tommo send that kind of email on its own. After twelve approvals in a row of one kind with nothing to fix, the tommo asks; you switch it on per form, on a paid plan. A signature always needs a person’s press.

Why B2B firms move their sale from HoneyBook to Tommos#

  • The reply waits for you, written. Tommo SDR answers each inquiry in your voice and offers times from your calendar. You press Send on a card, or let it send that kind on its own.
  • The proposal comes from the call and your estimate. Tommo Closer writes it the same day, with the numbers in your estimate, and never invents a price, a scope or a date.
  • Corporate clients send their own paper. Tommo Legal reads each MSA against the positions you write once, and drafts your SOW and NDA from your templates.
  • One record from inquiry to invoice. The email thread, the call, the proposal, the paper and the invoice live on one deal.

A services company runs its own sales on Tommos#

PFLB, the load testing firm where Tommos began, has run its inbound sale on three tommos since August 20, 2026. In seven weeks the tommos wrote 65 emails to 21 people, each sent on a person’s yes, and booked 10 meetings: see each count on PFLB’s page.

Keep HoneyBook for the client's signature and payment, if your clients like it#

One step crosses over: the final paper, once per deal. Tommos writes the emails and the papers, you decide each one, and HoneyBook collects the signature and the money.1

  1. 1

    Tommos writes.

Tommo SDR books the call, Tommo Closer sends the recap and the proposal. On Sign, Tommo Legal reads their MSA and drafts the SOW as a Google Doc, and you and the client agree the text.

  2. 2

The client signs and pays in HoneyBook.

Paste the agreed text into a HoneyBook contract, which takes content pasted from an existing contract,5 and send it with the invoice.

  3. 3

    The record stays whole.

Put the signed copy in the client's folder in your Drive, and mark the deal won in Tommos.

The deal and its history live in Tommos; the signature and the payment live in HoneyBook. With HoneyBook doing the invoices, Close is the plan to start on.

Questions HoneyBook users ask#

Is there a HoneyBook alternative for B2B firms?
Tommos (tommos.ai) is a CRM for B2B services firms whose AI agents work each deal: Tommo SDR answers the inquiry and books the call, Tommo Closer writes the proposal from your estimate and follows up, and Tommo Legal reads the client's MSA against your positions. One price per firm, from $299 a month, with no seats.
Doesn't HoneyBook have AI too?
Yes. HoneyBook AI drafts an email when a lead comes in through its form, takes meeting notes and suggests when to follow up; you edit each draft and press Send, per HoneyBook's AI page and help center, read on October 8, 2026. In Tommos the tommos write the reply, the recap, the proposal and each follow-up from the record and your estimate, and send on your yes until you let them send that kind on their own.
Does Tommos have a client portal or e-signature?
No. Tommos has no client portal and no e-signature service of its own. When a person you allow to sign presses Sign, Tommos places your signature on the PDF, and the client signs their own way: in HoneyBook, DocuSign or on paper.
Can Tommos read the contract my client sends me?
Yes, on the Sign plan. Tommo Legal reads the client's MSA or services agreement against the positions you write once, and returns a memo clause by clause with the wording to send back. A Word file also comes back with your changes tracked. The memo is research, not legal advice.
How does a client pay?
On Sign, Tommo Closer reads the signed paper, proposes the payment schedule and proposes each invoice when it is due, made in your Mercury account. Each one comes to you as a card, and a person approves it before it goes out. If your clients pay in HoneyBook, keep it for that.
How is Tommos priced next to HoneyBook?
HoneyBook is $29, $49 or $109 a month billed yearly, and $59 or $129 month to month on Essentials and Premium, with a fee on each payment it processes, per HoneyBook's pricing page, read on October 8, 2026. Tommos is $299, $599 or $899 a month for the whole firm, with the CRM and the AI model included and no seats. The proposal starts on Close, $599.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. In the 30 days after your first payment you can take all of it back with one press in Billing.
What do I need to start?
A Google Workspace account: the tommos write from your Gmail, book on your Google Calendar with a Meet link and keep papers in your Drive. Outlook is not supported yet.
