Tommos and PandaDoc, side by side#
We took each PandaDoc cell from PandaDoc’s own pages on Oct 7, 2026; the number after a cell names the page. “Not compared” means we did not check that cell; it does not mean no.

One inquiry, from the first email to the signed SOW#
A made-up sale, the same in both columns: a 9-person analytics firm, and a retailer that writes through the form on its site. The plan that does each step in Tommos is in brackets.
- 1
The reply and the callBook
In Tommos, Tommo SDR drafts the reply in your voice with two questions and three open times from your Google Calendar. You see it as a card: send, change or skip. With PandaDoc, this step lives in your inbox and your CRM; PandaDoc starts when there is a document to send.
- 2
The recapClose
Tommo Closer reads the call's transcript and drafts the recap: the scope, who decides, and when the proposal comes. PandaDoc has no recap step; you write it yourself.
- 3
The proposalClose
Your estimate says 8 weeks at $42,000. Tommo Closer writes the proposal as an email with those numbers and the points the client raised on the call. When the estimate is missing, it asks you. In PandaDoc, you open a template, fill the pricing table and send a designed page, and PandaDoc tells you when the client opens it.
- 4
The SOW and their MSASign
The client says yes and sends their MSA. Tommo Legal reads it against your positions on liability, payment, IP and law, and drafts your SOW from your template as a Google Doc in the client's folder in your Drive. You take or change each point, and Tommo Closer sends the client the link. In PandaDoc, you build the SOW from a template; the review of their MSA is your own reading, or your lawyer's.
- 5
Signed and paidSign
In PandaDoc, the client signs and can pay in the same document. In Tommos, when a person you allow to sign presses Sign, your signature goes on the PDF, and the client signs their own way. After you mark the deal won, Tommo Closer reads the signed paper in the client's folder, proposes the payment schedule, and proposes each invoice through Mercury when it is due.
You approve every email until you choose otherwise. After twelve approvals in a row of one kind of email with nothing to fix, a tommo asks to send that kind on its own; you switch it on per form, on a paid plan. A signature always needs a person’s press.

What three people pay in a year#
The arithmetic from the public price pages, read Oct 7, 2026, billed yearly. Taxes are left out. A year, 3 people.
| What | Tommos Close | Tommos Sign | PandaDoc Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plan | $479 × 12 = $5,748 | $719 × 12 = $8,628 | 3 seats × $49 × 12 = $1,7641 |
| What you get | The reply, the call, the recap, the proposal email from your estimate, follow-ups | Close, plus the SOW drafted from your template, the client's MSA read, and invoices through Mercury | Designed proposals, a content library, pricing tables, e-signature, CRM integrations1 |
| Who writes each email and proposal | Tommo SDR and Tommo Closer; you decide | Same, plus Tommo Legal on the paper | You2 |
| Each person you add, a year | $0 | $0 | $5881 |
PandaDoc prices the software; Tommos prices the work. In PandaDoc you write each reply, recap, proposal and follow-up yourself. In Tommos the tommos write them from the call and your estimate, and on Sign the SOW and the contract memo too, and you decide. PandaDoc grows by seat; Tommos grows by plan and by new leads a month, and people add nothing.
After your first payment you have 30 days to get all of it back with one press in Billing.
Why services firms pick Tommos for the proposal#
- The proposal goes out while the call is fresh. Tommo Closer reads the transcript and writes the proposal from your estimate the same day, so the client’s points are in it, and it never invents a price, a scope or a date.
- The work around the document is done too. Tommo SDR answers the inquiry and books the call, Tommo Closer follows up until there is a yes or a no, and on Sign Tommo Legal reads the client’s MSA and drafts your SOW.
- Your proposals are emails, and your contracts are Word or Google Docs. A scope and a price in an email, and an SOW under the client’s MSA: that is the shape Tommos writes.
- One price for the firm. No seats: a partner or a delivery lead joins at no cost.

Keep PandaDoc for the signature, if your clients sign there#
One step crosses over: the final paper, once per deal. Tommos writes the emails and the papers, you decide each one, and PandaDoc collects the signature and, if you want, the first payment.
- 1
Tommos writes.
Tommo Closer sends the recap and the proposal. On Sign, Tommo Legal drafts the SOW as a Google Doc, and you and the client edit the same document.
- 2
You upload the final paper to PandaDoc.
Download the agreed Google Doc as a PDF or Word file and upload it to PandaDoc; uploads and e-signatures are unlimited on Starter and up.
- 3
The client signs in PandaDoc.
Put the signed copy in the client's folder in your Drive, where Tommos looks for it. If it reaches you as a file in an email on the deal, Tommo Legal keeps it in that folder itself (Sign).
- 4
Tommos gets it paid.Sign
Mark the deal won. Tommo Closer reads the signed paper and proposes the payment schedule on a card. If PandaDoc already took the first payment, change the card so that amount is not invoiced again. When Tommo Closer cannot find the terms, it asks you.
The deal and its history live in Tommos; the signing record lives in PandaDoc.
Questions PandaDoc users ask#
- Is there a PandaDoc alternative that uses AI to write the proposal from the sales call?
- Tommos (tommos.ai) is a CRM whose AI agent, Tommo Closer, reads the call's transcript and writes the proposal as an email from your estimate, then follows up until there is a decision. It never invents a price, a scope or a date; when the estimate is missing, it asks you. If your clients sign in PandaDoc, keep it for the signature.
- Do I still need PandaDoc?
- For the writing, no: Tommos writes the proposal, the SOW and the follow-ups, and reads the client's MSA. Keep PandaDoc for a signing link, designed proposal pages or payment inside the document, if your clients expect them.
- How does the client sign?
- Keep your e-signature tool. When a person you allow to sign presses Sign, Tommos places your signature on the PDF. Your client signs their own way, in PandaDoc, DocuSign or on paper. Put the signed copy in the client's folder in your Drive, and on Sign Tommo Closer invoices from it through Mercury.
- Does Tommos integrate with PandaDoc?
- They work side by side, once per deal: download the final paper from Google Drive, upload it to PandaDoc, and put the signed copy back in the client's folder in your Drive.
- Can Tommos write a statement of work?
- Yes, on the Sign plan. Tommo Legal drafts the SOW as a Google Doc from your own template, with the scope, price and dates from your estimate. Without an estimate there is no SOW: it asks you for one.
- How is Tommos priced next to PandaDoc?
- PandaDoc is $19 or $49 a seat a month, billed yearly, as of Oct 7, 2026. Tommos is $299, $599 or $899 a month for the whole firm, with the AI model included and no seats. Proposals start on Close, $599. PandaDoc charges per seat for the software; Tommos charges per firm for the work, because the tommos write the emails and papers.
- What about Proposify or Qwilr?
- They sit where PandaDoc sits. Both design proposal pages with e-signature: Proposify from $35 a user a month billed yearly, Qwilr from $35 a user a month billed yearly, as of Oct 7, 2026. In both you build the proposal; in Tommos it is written from your call and your estimate, and Tommos works next to either one for the signature.
- Which call recordings does Tommo Closer read?
- Transcripts from Granola, or files in a Google Drive folder you name. A Zoom or Teams call works once its transcript lands in that folder.
- What happens to my clients' data?
- The tommos run on Claude, a model made by Anthropic, under an agreement that does not let Anthropic train on your data, and Tommos does not train models on it either. Contracts and drafts stay in your Google Drive. The details are on the privacy page.
- What do I need to start?
- A Google Workspace account: the tommos write from your Gmail, book on your Google Calendar with a Meet link and keep papers in your Drive.
