Tommos and HubSpot, side by side#
We took each HubSpot cell from HubSpot’s own pages on Oct 7, 2026; the number after a cell names the page. HubSpot’s prices are in US dollars per seat a month.

Prices change, and HubSpot runs promotions. We read these pages again on the day this page goes live.
One inquiry, from the first email to the signed MSA#
A made-up sale, the same in both columns: a 12-person QA firm, and a fintech that writes through the form on its site. The plan that does each step in Tommos is in brackets.
- 1
The replyBook
In Tommos, Tommo SDR drafts the reply within the hour, in your voice, with two questions and three open times from your Google Calendar. You see it as a card: send, change or skip. In HubSpot, the form puts the contact in your CRM, and Customer Agent can answer from Professional up, paid per resolved conversation.
- 2
The call bookedBook
Tommos puts three open times in the reply, and the call lands on your Google Calendar with a Meet link. HubSpot offers a booking page on every plan.
- 3
The recapClose
Tommo Closer reads the call's transcript and drafts the recap: the scope, who decides, and when your proposal comes. HubSpot's AI recaps the meeting on Professional, and its sequences send the follow-ups.
- 4
The proposalClose
Tommo Closer puts the numbers from your estimate into the proposal. It never invents a price, a scope or a date; when the estimate is missing, it asks you. HubSpot builds a quote from the deal record, and the client signs and pays inside it, on Professional. In Tommos, on Sign, after a won deal, Tommo Closer proposes the payment schedule and sends each invoice through Mercury.
- 5
Their MSASign
The client's lawyer sends their MSA. Tommo Legal marks each clause that departs from your positions on liability, payment, IP and law, and drafts the SOW from your template in your Drive. You strike or keep each clause, and a person signs. Reading the client's MSA is not in HubSpot's plans.
You approve every email until you choose otherwise. After twelve approvals in a row of one kind of email with nothing to fix, a tommo asks to send that kind on its own; you switch it on per form, on a paid plan.

What five people pay in a year#
The arithmetic from the public price pages, read Oct 7, 2026. Taxes are left out. A year, 5 people.
| What | Tommos Close | HubSpot Sales Hub Professional |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | $479 × 12 = $5,748, billed yearly | 5 seats × $90 × 12 = $5,400, billed yearly1 |
| Onboarding | None | $1,500, once1 |
| First year | $5,748 | $6,900 |
| Each year after | $5,748 | $5,400 |
| AI agents | In the price; 50 new leads a month | 3,000 credits a month included (30 recommended leads or 60 resolved conversations); past them, $1 a lead or $0.50 a conversation14 |
| Proposal and recap | The recap and the proposal included | Quotes and AI recaps included1 |
At five people, the first year costs $1,152 less in Tommos. At ten, Professional costs $12,300 in the first year and $10,800 in each year after; Tommos costs the same $5,748. Tommos grows by plan and by new leads a month; people add nothing, and no credits run out. The client’s MSA review is Sign, $719 a month billed yearly.
Tommos is priced by the work the tommos do on each deal: the replies, the recaps, the proposals and the contract markup. Not by the people who sign in.
Every Tommos plan counts 50 new leads a month: a new person a tommo starts to work, test records not counted. Past 50, Tommos still opens the record, says on it that the work waits, and starts it when the month turns. A lead already in work never stops. After your first payment you have 30 days to get all of it back with one press in Billing.
When Tommos wins for a services company#
- Your clients come to you, and the reply waits. They fill in your form, email you or book a call. Tommo SDR drafts the reply within the hour, in your voice, with three open times, and books the call. No credit is spent per conversation.
- You sell through a call, a proposal and a contract. Tommo Closer writes the recap and the proposal from your estimate and follows up until there is a decision; Tommo Legal reads the client’s MSA against your terms and drafts your SOW. HubSpot’s plans stop before the MSA.
- You want one price for the company. A partner or an account lead joins at no cost. No seats, no onboarding fee, no credits; the plan counts new leads, 50 a month.
- You work from Claude or another AI agent. Your agent signs in once over MCP and works your deals as you, and it can open the workspace for you.

Start on new inquiries this week, and keep HubSpot as it is#
You do not have to leave HubSpot to start. Tommos begins with your live conversations, and your history stays where it is.
- 1
Sign in to Tommos with Google.
Tommo reads the last 30 days of your email and meetings and opens a record for each conversation still open, up to 50.
- 2
Put the Tommos form on your contact page.
New inquiries land in Tommos from that day; the ones that come to your Gmail, Tommo reads too.
- 3
Keep HubSpot for what it holds.
Old deals, notes and your marketing stay there.
- 4
Add older contacts only when you mean to work them.
You can add a contact by hand or through your AI agent over MCP. Each one you add opens Tommo SDR's work on that person and counts as one of your 50 new leads that month. Bring over the people you are selling to now, not the whole list.
One split that works: marketing in HubSpot, new inquiries and every deal from the first reply to the signed contract in Tommos.
Questions HubSpot users ask#
- Is there a cheaper alternative to HubSpot for a small business?
- It depends on the seats. HubSpot Sales Hub Professional is $90 a seat a month billed yearly, plus a $1,500 onboarding: $6,900 in the first year for five people and $12,300 for ten, before extra agent credits. Tommos (tommos.ai) is one price for the whole company, $299 to $899 a month, with AI agents that answer inquiries, write proposals and read the client's contract inside it.
- Why is HubSpot so expensive?
- You pay on three lines. Each person needs a seat ($90 a month billed yearly on Sales Hub Professional). Professional adds a required $1,500 onboarding. AI agents spend HubSpot Credits; Professional includes 3,000 a month, and you buy more past that. Each person you add costs another seat. Tommos prices the other way: by plan and by new leads a month, with no seats.
- Does HubSpot have AI agents? How are they priced?
- Yes. Prospecting Agent researches accounts and drafts outreach to new prospects, from Starter; HubSpot charges $1 for each lead it recommends. Customer Agent answers customer questions across chat, email and forms, on Professional and up, at $0.50 a resolved conversation. Both run on HubSpot Credits, which reset each month.
- Can I move from HubSpot to Tommos?
- Yes, starting from your live conversations rather than an import. When you sign in with Google, Tommo reads the last 30 days of your email and meetings and opens a record for each conversation still open, up to 50. Add the people you are selling to now by hand or through your AI agent over MCP. Your HubSpot history stays readable in HubSpot.
- Can I use Tommos with HubSpot?
- Yes, side by side. Records do not sync, so keep marketing in HubSpot and run new inquiries and deals in Tommos; each person lives in one place.
- Can I try Tommos free?
- Yes: 14 days of everything, every tommo included, with no card. After that you choose a plan; without one, nothing runs and nothing is sent, and your records stay to read and to export.
- How does the client sign?
- Keep your e-signature tool if your clients sign there. When a person you allow to sign presses Sign, Tommos places your signature on the PDF; the client signs their own way. On Sign, once the deal is won, Tommo Closer reads the signed paper and invoices from it through Mercury.
- What do I need to start?
- A Google Workspace account: the tommos write from your Gmail, book on your Google Calendar with a Meet link and keep papers in your Drive.
- Whose address do the emails come from?
- Yours. The tommos send from your own Gmail address, in the same thread.
- How many people can use Tommos?
- All of your people. Plans count no seats.
